時差N小時:喝尿是安全的嗎?(上)

　　Time go again to the A Moment of Science mailbag.A listener writes: Dear A Moment of Science, Is itOK to drink urine? Not that I want to, I’m justcurious. Well, the short answer is yes if you’retrapped somewhere without water, you can drinkyour own urine, or even someone else’s, in order tosurvive a little longer. But wait. Besides the factthat drinking urine is kinda gross, doesn’t it containchemicals the body’s trying to get rid of? Isn’t thatthe whole point of urinating? Yes, but Urine is stillsafe to drink in the short term. Normally, urine isabout 95 percent water and only five percent waste minerals such as excess potassium andcalcium. So at least at first, drinking urine isn’t that different from drinking water.

　　又到了《科學(xué)時間》節(jié)目。一位聽眾寫道：尊敬的《科學(xué)時間》，真的能喝尿嗎?我并不像那么做，我只是好奇。粗俗的問題。答案是肯定的，如果你被困在某處，沒有水喝，那你可以喝自己的尿液，甚至是別人的，為了延長生存時間。但是，等一下。除了喝尿是有點粗俗外，尿液含有的化學(xué)物質(zhì)不正是身體要排除的嗎?那是尿液的關(guān)鍵嗎?是的，但在短期內(nèi)尿液仍然可以安全飲用。通常情況下，尿約含有95%的水，只有百分之五的廢物，比如多余的鉀和鈣礦物。因此，至少在初期，喝尿和喝水沒有太大的區(qū)別。
