今天我選擇

It's quiet. It's early.

萬籟寂靜，一切還早。

The sky is still black. The world is still asleep.

天空仍漆黑一片，整個世界還在沉睡。

In a few moments the day will arrive. It will roardown the track with the rising of the sun. The stillness of the dawn will be exchanged for thenoise of the day. The calm of solitude will be replaced by the pounding pace of the humanrace.

再過幾分鐘，白晝即將來臨。它將與初升的太陽一起帶我們進入新的一天。黎明的寂靜將會被喧鬧的白晝?nèi)〈６毺幍膶庫o也會被人們急促的步伐而代替。

The refuge of the early morning will be invaded by decisions to be made and deadlines to bemet.

清晨的避難所也因一切要做的決定和一切要完成的任務(wù)而受到干擾。

For the next twelve hours I will be exposed to the day's demands. It is now that I must make achoice. I'm free to choose, and so I choose...

在未來的12個小時里，我將會有所作為。就是現(xiàn)在，我必須作出抉擇。我可以自由抉擇，因此我選擇......

I choose love ..

我選擇愛......

No occasion justifies hatred;

我們沒有理由去仇恨;

No injustice warrants bitterness.

也沒有理由去從惡。

I choose joy ...

我選擇歡樂......

I will refuse the temptation to be cynical, the tool of the lazy thinker.

我要拒絕憤世嫉俗的生活態(tài)度，這其實是一種懶人哲學(xué)。

I choose peace ...

我選擇和平......

I will live forgiven.

我要去釋懷。

I will forgive so that I may live.

因為有了釋懷，我會活得更充實。

I choose patience ...

我選擇耐心......

I will overlook the inconveniences of the world.

我將遠眺這世界的無奈。

Instead of clenching my fist at new assignments,

不是緊握拳頭痛苦地對待新的挑戰(zhàn)，

I will face them with joy and courage.

而是用歡樂和勇氣應(yīng)付困難。

I choose gentleness ..

我選擇溫和......

Nothing is won by force.

武力并不能帶來最終的勝利。

I choose to be gentle.

我選擇溫和的作風(fēng)。
