上面兩句話都是不正確的表達(dá)方式，可改為以下等不同語(yǔ)氣的表達(dá)方式。

He refused me permission to use his bicycle.

He refused to let me use his bicycle.

表示不接受對(duì)方的邀請(qǐng)，請(qǐng)求或是提議時(shí)，一般不用refuse或是reject，而常用cannot accept，cannotcomply with，decline等。

【詞義辨析】

refuse, decline, reject, repel, deny

這些動(dòng)詞均含“拒絕”之意。

refuse語(yǔ)氣較重，指態(tài)度堅(jiān)決，肯定無(wú)疑的拒絕。

decline指婉言謝絕他人的幫助或邀請(qǐng)等。

reject多指由于某物某事某行為不能讓人滿意而被當(dāng)面直截了當(dāng)?shù)鼐芙^，與之相近的是spurn，鄙棄之意。

repel作“拒絕”解時(shí)，語(yǔ)氣比reject強(qiáng)。

deny指否認(rèn)(觀點(diǎn))。

as, because, for, since

這些連詞均含有“因?yàn)?rdquo;之意。

as從屬連詞，語(yǔ)意較because, since弱，著重在主句，所表示的原因或理由是“附帶的”。

because從屬連詞，語(yǔ)意強(qiáng)，著重直接的原因或理由，所引出的從句是全句的重心，用以回答why提出的問(wèn)題。

for并列連詞，語(yǔ)氣較弱，所引出的句子一般放在后面，表示附帶說(shuō)明的理由或推斷理由。

since語(yǔ)意比because弱，但比as強(qiáng)，一般用于表示“由于大家已知的事實(shí)”。
