二.hear:v. 得知,傾聽,聽到,聽證
【詞語用法】
1.hear同see,watch,feel,notice等感觀動(dòng)詞一樣,其賓語后所接的不定式不含to。
I often hear her sing.
我常聽到她唱歌。
但是,hear用于被動(dòng)語態(tài)時(shí),不定式中要含to。
She is often heard to sing.
2.hear的賓語后既可接不定式,也可接動(dòng)名詞,但是在表示“故意聽……”時(shí),只能用不定式。
I often hear her sing.
I often hear her singing.
3.hear him表示“聽見他”,不管是聽到講話,唱歌,讀書等,均可;
4.hear of sb表示“聽說過某人”,不一定用耳朵去聽,在報(bào)道上看到的也可以。
I have heard of the hero through the press.
我曾在報(bào)刊上讀到過這個(gè)英雄。
5.hear from可表示“收到……寄來的信”,后可接表示人或地方的詞。
I hear from him every week.
I have not heard from England for several months.
要注意的是,在回信時(shí),開首提及收到對(duì)方的信,習(xí)慣上用receive your letter來代替hear from you。
hear from ... that/how等不一定表示“收到……的信”,可以是“聽說”等其他含義。

6.hear的賓語后有時(shí)可接過去分詞。

7.hear同listen的比較:hear一般指聽到一些東西進(jìn)入到我們的耳朵里,而listen一般用于去注意一些聲響,這些聲響是進(jìn)行中的。
