“我恐高啊，” 小狐說。

Fox and Louise came down the telephone pole together.

小狐和露易絲一起爬下電線桿。

"You are trouble," said Fox.

“你真會(huì)惹麻煩，” 小狐說。

On the way home Fox had a terrible thought.

回家的路上一個(gè)可怕的念頭出現(xiàn)在小狐腦中。

"What if Louise tells?" he said to himself. "I will really get it!"

“如果露易絲告訴媽媽了怎么辦?” 他對(duì)自己說。“我會(huì)被罰的!”

Fox bought Louise the biggest ice cream cone he could buy.

小狐盡可能的給露易絲買了一個(gè)最大的甜筒。

"You must not tell," he said.

“你決不能說出去，” 他說。

"Maybe I will and maybe I won't," said Louise.

“我可能會(huì)可能不會(huì)，” 露易絲回答。

"What have you two been up to?" asked Mom. Fox held his breath.

“你們倆去哪兒啦?” 媽媽問。小狐屏住呼吸。

"We went to the park," said Louise.

“我們?nèi)チ斯珗@，” 露易絲答。
