Mr. = Mr. Taylor　　M = Mary

Mr.: There are two things that you'll need to know.

泰勒老師：有兩件事你必須知道。

M: What are they?

瑪　　麗：哪兩件事?

Mr.: The school has three lunch periods, and the kids are divided into three groups to go to lunch.

泰勒老師：學校有三個午休用餐時間，學生分成三組去吃午餐。

M: Wow!

瑪　　麗：哇!

Mr.: Furthermore, when you are dismissed in the afternoon, you will be divided into two waves.

泰勒老師：此外，下午放學時，學生也分成兩批。

M: Two waves?

瑪　　麗：兩批?

Mr.: The school parking lot is not big enough for all the school buses to come in at one time. So only half the buses come in first to pick up the first wave's students.

泰勒老師：學校停車場不夠大，不能在同一個時間讓所有的校車進來。所以一半的校車先進來搭載第一批的學生。

M: And the other half come in later to pick up the second wave.

瑪　　麗：而另一半的校車再進來搭載第二批。

dismissed：v. 解散、放學

divided into：把……分成

例句：Administratively,the country is divided into 50 states.
這個國家在行政上劃分成50個州。

pick up sb：接載

例句：We drove to the airport the next morning to pick up Susan.
我們第二天早晨開車去機場接蘇姍。
