C：I’m mainly interested in learning to play rhythm guitar.

顧客：我主要想學(xué)彈民謠吉他。

S：In that case，I’d suggest a steel-string guitar.The best one we have is the Ovation.

店員：那樣的話，我建議買鋼弦吉他，我們最好的是 Ovation。

C：This one’s a little too expensive for me.I’d prefer something cheaper for now.When I’ve learned to play ，I might get a better one.

顧客：這對(duì)我而言太貴了一點(diǎn)，目前我想買便宜一點(diǎn)的，等我學(xué)會(huì)后可能會(huì)買一把比較好的。

S：In that case，how about this one?It’s inexpensive but it’s still well made and easy to play.

C：Hmm.All right，I’ll take it，and this book on how to play the guitar as well.

5.suggest vt.建議

注意：

suggest 表示“建議” 時(shí)， 屬意志動(dòng)詞， 其后 that 從句中要使用助動(dòng)詞 should，而 should往往予以省略， 直接接動(dòng)詞原形。

例：I suggest that he (should) spend more time researching the subject.

(我建議他應(yīng)該多花點(diǎn)時(shí)間研究這個(gè)項(xiàng)目。)

prefer to V rather than V 寧愿……而不愿……

=prefer to V instead of Ving

例：He prefers to walk rather than take a taxi.

例：The burglars took the computer and the TV as well.

(小偷拿走電腦，另外也拿走了電視。)

9.a couple of+復(fù)數(shù)名詞　幾個(gè)……

例：Gordon bought a couple of CDs at the record store.

(戈登在唱片行買了幾張CD。)

10.pick n.(樂(lè)器的) 撥子，琴撥

11.Don’t mention it.不用客氣。

=Not at all.

=You are welcome.

例：A: Thanks a lot.

(甲：非常謝謝。)

B: Don't mention it.

(乙：不用客氣。)
