Tip:很多人都知道refuse to do的用法，以至于認(rèn)為refuse只能作不及物動(dòng)詞使用，如Why did the patient refuse to take the medicine? (那個(gè)病人為什么不肯服藥?)其實(shí) refuse也可作及物動(dòng)詞，后面可直接接名詞，如It didn't occur to him that she would refuse his invitation. (他沒有想到她會(huì)拒絕他的邀請(qǐng))。拒絕對(duì)方時(shí)語(yǔ)氣一定要委婉，為將來留余地的同時(shí)，也是對(duì)對(duì)方的一種尊重。所以不妨說 We are expecting cooperation with you next time. (希望有機(jī)會(huì)下次合作)。
