A:很遺憾告訴你，許多唱片和磁帶都損壞了。

B: I'm sorry to hear that. But the goods left here were in pedect condition. It was possibly caused by rough handling.

B:聽到這事深感遺憾，可是貨運(yùn)走時(shí)是完好的，可能是不當(dāng)裝卸造成的。

A：大多數(shù)唱片或是裂了，或是折彎了，還有很多都碎了。我可以向你保證卸貨時(shí)絕對(duì)沒有不當(dāng)裝卸行為。

A: Most of the records were either split or wrapped.and many of them were smashed. Besides.l can assure you that there was no rough handling when the goods were unloaded.

B:既然是你安排的裝運(yùn)，恐怕這事我沒法幫你。

B: Well, as you made the arrangement for delivery.l am afraid I can't help you.

A:是的，是我們安排的裝運(yùn)，可是為了搬運(yùn)方便安全，我們要求你們把貨品單件包裝，每一箱不能多于10件，很顯然你們這批貨沒有這么做。

A; Yes,we did make the arrangement for delivery. But we instructed you to wrap each piece individually and pack no more than 10 pieces into a crate to allow for easy and safe handling. But this was obviously not done with the consignment.

B：你知道這批貨損失多少?

B: Have you any idea about the damage?

A:我們估計(jì)有大約30%的貨損壞了，我們還花了不少運(yùn)輸費(fèi)用。我們要求換貨，或者在價(jià)格上減少20%。

A: We estimate that about 30% of the goods were damaged. And the shipping charges cost us a lot. We would like either repla- cements or a 20% reduction in price.

B:我承認(rèn)我們對(duì)損失負(fù)有部分責(zé)任，那么咱們各讓一半，貨價(jià)減少10%吧。

B: I admit that we were partially responsible for the damage. So let's meet each other half-way and compromise on a lOoto reduction in price on the consignment.
