So to you as individuals, what wisdom, have I learnt.
那么，你們作為個人，又學到了什么樣的智慧呢?
First, in fact, keep learning. Always to be alive to the possibilities of the next experience, of thinking, doing and being.
事實上，首先就是要不斷學習。要時刻準備迎接新的生活、不斷思考、積極行動。
When Buddha was asked, near the end of his life, to describe his secret, he answered bluntly: "I'm awake."
佛陀臨終前，人們要求他講述成為圣人的秘訣，他坦率地說：“因為我頭腦清醒”。
so be awake. Understand conventional wisdom, but be prepared to change it.
所以，要保持頭腦清醒。要了解傳統(tǒng)的智慧，但要準備改變它。
Feel as well as analyze; use your instinct alongside your reason. Calculate too much and you will miscalculate.
不僅要學會分析，還妥學著用心感受。直覺與推理并存，因為算計太多難免會出錯。
Be prepared to fail as well as to succeed, realise it is failure not success that defines character.
不僅要接受成功，也要準備經歷失敗。因為是失敗而非成功塑造了性格。
Be good to people on your way up because you never know if you will meet them again on your way down.
當你事業(yè)順利的時候妥善待他人，因為你永遠不會知道，你遭遇挫折的時候是否會遇到他們。
Judge someone by how they treat those below them not those above them.
評價一個人，要看他們怎樣對待比自己地位低的人，而不是看他們怎樣對待地位比自己高的人。
Be a firm friend not a fair-weather friend. It is your friendships, including those friends you made here at Yale, at this time, that sustain and enrich the human spirit.
要做一個可靠的朋友，而不是靠不住的酒肉朋友。是友誼，包括現在你們在耶魯大學結交的朋友之間的友誼，維持并豐富著人類精神。
