The remains of the first victims of the Germanwings air disaster has been flown back to Germany. 150 people died in March when the copilot Andreas Lubitz crashed a jet passenger into the French Alps. 16 school children are among the 44 people whose remains repatriated first. The families would have the chance to view the coffins inside the hangar at Dusseldorf Airport. Julian Rerlt, editor-in-chief of Bills on-Line in Berlin says it's the first opportunity they had to be near those who were lost.

"Obviously, it will be very emotional, because so far you know most of the families had the chance to go to the place where the plane crashed, but they had no chance to say goodbye in any way, they have no chance to mourn at the coffin. It will be first time, they will be actually close to the bodies of their loved ones. It will be definitely an emotional and emotional moment for the families, but also, I can say, for the whole country."
