　　Should I Get LPG?

　　應(yīng)該用液化石油氣嗎?

　　Troy : I spent over $200 on gasoline this month.

　　Troy : 這個月我花了200美元的汽油。

　　Reese : Gosh! That’s too much! Where have you been wandering around?

　　Reese : 天啊!太多啦!你都去哪兒轉(zhuǎn)了?

　　Troy : Nowhere! Same old schedule travelling from office to home. Maybe an odd trip.

　　Troy : 哪兒也沒去!就是辦公室和家兩點一線啊。太奇怪了。

　　Reese : You gotta find a solution! You’ll be spending all your money on fuel.

　　Reese : 你得想個辦法!你所有的錢都要燒在燃料上了。

　　Troy : Yeah! I’ve been thinking about it. Maybe I should get a LPG kit installed.

　　Troy : 是!我也一直在想這個問題?；蛟S我應(yīng)該買個液態(tài)石油氣安上。

　　Reese : Yeah! You could... It would save you some money.

　　Reese : 是啊!可以啊........這樣可以省點兒錢。

　　Can’t Go on the Trip.

　　不能去旅行了。

　　Reese : I just saw the groceries list, Reese. Why’re you buying enough for the entire month?

　　Reese : Resse,我剛看了購物單。你怎么買了足夠一個月的東西?

　　Peyton : We always do that. Don’t we? It saves us money.

　　Peyton : 我們一直這么買，不是嗎?這么買省錢。

　　Reese : Yeah, but aren’t we going on a week-long trip this month? All this food is going to be wasted.

　　Reese : 是，可是我們這個月不是有一個月的長期旅行嗎?這些食物都要浪費了。

　　Peyton : Well Reese… I hate to break it to you dear.

　　Peyton : 嗯，Resse........我真的不想違背我的諾言，親愛的。

　　Reese : Break what? What’s going on?

　　Reese : 違背什么?怎么了?

　　Peyton : We can’t go on the trip. I just got a mailer from the holiday planners. They’ve raised their prices and we can’t afford it anymore.

　　Peyton : 我不能去旅行了。我剛接到了一個假日策劃師郵寄過來的廣告信。價格高了，我們沒那么多錢，買不起。

　　Reese : What? No way! This is crazy. It was $1,500 just last week!

　　Reese : 什么?不行!這太瘋狂了。上周還1,500美元呢!

　　Peyton : Well, now it’s $1,800. Let’s wait till next month.

　　Peyton : 嗯，現(xiàn)在是1,800美元。我們下個月再等等吧。

　　Let’s Start a Carpool!

　　Peyton : Hey, Troy! How are you doing?

　　Peyton : 嘿，Troy!最近好嗎?

　　Peyton : Well buddy... we live in the neighborhood, and our offices are right nearby, so I was thinking of something...

　　Troy : Yeah? Tell me.

　　Troy : 嗯?說吧。

　　Peyton : You know about the gas prices. They’re going up all the time. I think we should start a carpool. Sometimes we take my car, and sometimes yours.

　　Peyton : 你也知道現(xiàn)在的油價。一直都在漲。我想我們可以拼車。這次你做我的車，下次我做你的車。

　　Troy : Hey! That’s a great idea! And it’s environment friendly too. Let’s start from tomorrow.

　　Troy : 嘿!好主意!還環(huán)保。明天就開始吧。

　　Peyton : Fantastic!

　　Peyton : 太好了!

　　Need A Better Job.

　　需要一個好工作

　　Troy : I think I’m going to get a new job.

　　Troy : 我想我得換個工作了。

　　Bruce : Why? What’s wrong with this job?

　　Bruce :為什么?這個工作不好嗎?

　　Troy : I love this job. Being an artist is my calling, but I can’t afford it anymore because it’s not paying my bills.

　　Troy :我喜歡這個工作。 我的職業(yè)是一名藝術(shù)家，可是當(dāng)藝術(shù)家，不夠付我的賬單。

　　Bruce : Oh! I am sorry to hear that buddy, but I know what you mean. What are you planning to do?

　　Bruce :哦!很抱歉聽到這個消息，可我明白你的意思。你想做什么?

　　Troy : I am a trained plumber. Going to take that up again. It pays better.

　　Troy : 我是個接受過培訓(xùn)的水管工。重操舊業(yè)吧，收入更高些。

　　Bruce : Good luck pal.

　　Bruce : 兄弟，祝你好運。
