Kate: Murphy, aren’t you studying?

Kate：墨菲，你還在寫作業(yè)嗎?

Murphy: I’ve just finished. Let me watch South Park!

Murphy：我剛才已經(jīng)寫完了，讓我看會(huì)《南方公園》

Kate: I guess it’s your turn to clean the kitchen today.

Kate：我猜今天輪到你打掃廚房了

Murphy: We had a deal, Kate. Don’t you remember the laundry?

Murphy：我們約定好了，凱特，你沒(méi)有忘記洗衣服吧?

Kate: Murphy, that deal is already done. I cleaned the carpets! You’d better clean up the kitchen now.

Kate：墨菲，那我已經(jīng)做完了，我把地毯都清洗完了，你最好現(xiàn)在去打掃廚房

Murphy: Uff...!!! Alright! I’ll do that later. For now, let me watch TV.

Murphy：啊…..好吧，我待會(huì)再做，現(xiàn)在，讓我看會(huì)電視

Parents Talk About “Do it later”.

家長(zhǎng)說(shuō)“以后再做”

Austen: My kids get on my nerves these days.

Austen：我孩子這幾天真讓我心煩意亂

Lynn: Guess they are not kids anymore!

Lynn：我想他們都已經(jīng)不再是孩子了吧

Austen: Guess not. Every time I tell them to do something, I get a ‘do it later’ reply!

Lynn: My kids say that, too. It’s a teenage problem.

Austen: I never did that when I was a teenager!

Lynn: Then probably you should do it now.

Lynn：那你現(xiàn)在就應(yīng)該做了

Austen: What do you mean?

Austen：你這是什么意思?

Lynn: When your kids ask you for something, reply “I’ll do it later”.

Lynn：當(dāng)你孩子向你要東西的時(shí)候，你就回答“我稍后再做”

Austen: Yeah, that might be a good solution.

Austen：對(duì)啊，那可能是個(gè)解決方法

Lynn: I’ve tried it and it brought me good results!

A Polite Request

Kate: Austen, how are you?

Kate：奧斯汀，你好嗎?

Austen: I’m fine Kate! I was looking for you!

Austen：凱特，我很好，我一直在找你

Kate: For me, why?

Kate：找我，怎么啦?

Austen: Can you review this article for me?

Kate: Sure.

Kate：當(dāng)然可以

Austen: Actually, I was planning to submit it by this afternoon.
