10) This restaurant serves spaghetti, but not pizza.
    這家餐廳做通心粉，但是沒(méi)有比薩餅。
    * serve 本是服務(wù)的意思，但要指餐廳、飲食店、酒吧做的東西時(shí)是說(shuō)“serve pizza, coffee, brandy.”

11) What in the world are you eating?
    你到底在吃什么？
    * “What in the world...?”是“到底……？”的意思。

12) My mother can cook delicious Mexican food.
    我的母親燒得一手墨西哥的美味佳肴。
    * 常見(jiàn)用 dish 代替 food。

13) Don't you think you've eaten enough?
    你不是吃的很多了嗎？
    * 含有“你好要吃呀？”的意思。
      “我吃飽了?！笔钦f(shuō)“I've eaten enough.”或者“I've had enough.”

14) Please don't snack; you will ruin your dinner.
    請(qǐng)別吃點(diǎn)心了，你會(huì)對(duì)正餐失去胃口的。
    * snack 是指清淡的點(diǎn)心。ruin 是糟踏的意思。

15) Switzerland is famous for its milk and cheese.
    瑞士的牛奶和奶酪是非常出名的。
    * 酪制品是“dairy products”。
      日常會(huì)話(huà)里以“well-known”、“famous”用得頻繁。

16) Sometimes I miss home cooking.
    我有時(shí)想念家鄉(xiāng)菜。

17) Hotels in America don't usually serve dinner in the rooms.
    在美國(guó)的旅店里，正餐通常是不送到房間里。

18) There are many wild blackberry bushes along the road.
    路旁有許多野生的黑漿果灌木。
    * “gooseberry, raspberry, strawberry”等都會(huì)長(zhǎng)成灌木。
