第十七章 謂語 復(fù)合謂語

　　復(fù)合謂語分為兩種情況

　　1 .情態(tài)動(dòng)詞+不帶to 的不定式：

　　Could you tell your name ?你能把名字拼一下嗎?

　　Can I help you ?我能幫你做點(diǎn)什么嗎?

　　That must be interesting .這一定很有意思。

　　Where should we go ?我們?cè)摰侥睦锶ツ?

　　2 .含有不定式的復(fù)合謂語：

　　Do you happen to know her address ?你是否(恰好)知道她的地址?

　　They don't seem to like the idea .他們似乎不贊成這個(gè)想法。

　　We'll have to make some changes .我們不得不做些改動(dòng)。

　　Did you use to live in Chicago ?你過去是在芝加哥住的嗎?

　　They are not likely to agree .他們同意的可能性不大。

　　How did you get to know him ?你怎么認(rèn)識(shí)他的。

　　3 .系動(dòng)詞+表語：

　　They smell good and taste good .它們很香，味道也好。

　　He turned red with anger. 他臉都?xì)饧t了。

　　Our dreans have come true .我們的夢(mèng)想成真了。

　　The weather continued fine for several days .好幾天天氣都很好。

　　He has grown quite tall .他長得相當(dāng)高了。

　　The milk has gone sour .牛奶壞了。

　　4 .某些被動(dòng)結(jié)構(gòu)的句子(主動(dòng)結(jié)構(gòu)若包含著一個(gè)復(fù)合賓語，變?yōu)楸粍?dòng)結(jié)構(gòu)時(shí)會(huì)包含一個(gè)復(fù)合謂語):

　　The door was painted white.門被漆成了白色。

　　She was appointed vice-director of the farm.

　　The room was kept spotlessly clean .房間干凈得一塵不染。

　　She was often heard to sing this song .人們常聽見她唱這首歌。

　　They were forceed to work long hours .菠們被迫長時(shí)間干活。
