　　159.主語表示法

　　主語可以用下面這些東西表示：

　　1名詞：

　　The world must eliminate war and poverty.

　　人類必須消滅戰(zhàn)爭與貧窮。

　　Is there any life on the planet Mars?

　　火星上有生命跡象嗎?

　　2代詞：

　　Who is speaking, please?

　　(在電話中)請問你是誰?

　　That is ok.

　　這沒問題。

　　3.數(shù)詞：

　　Two will be enough.

　　兩個就夠了。

　　Two-thirds of the workers are women.

　　三分之二的工人是女工。

　　4.動名詞：

　　Shopping is easy in a supermarket.

　　在超級市場購物很容易。

　　There is no telling when they can come.

　　他們什么時候能來沒法說。

　　5.不定式：

　　To translate this ideal into reality needs hard work.

　　理想的實現(xiàn)還要靠我們努力。

　　It is difficult to answer this question.

　　回答這個問題很困難。

　　6.詞組：

　　Distribution according to work is the principle of socialism.

　　按勞分配是社會主義原則。

　　All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy .

　　盡用功不愛玩，使孩子變得很呆板。(諺)

　　7.從句：

　　What has happened proves that our policy is right.

　　發(fā)生的情況證明我們的方針是對的。

　　Whether we'll go depends on the weather.

　　我們是否去得看天氣。

　　8.名詞化的詞：

　　“A ” is an article.

　　A是一個冠詞。

　　The unemployed usually lead a hard life.

　　失業(yè)的人生活一般很困難。
