第十五章 連詞 從屬連詞(1)

　　1.引起時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)從句的連詞：

　　1) when 當(dāng)……時(shí)：

　　Does it hurt when I press here?

　　我按這里時(shí)疼不疼?

　　They usually leave when the work is done.

　　他們通常干完活就走了。

　　They were having their dinner when he arrived.

　　她來(lái)時(shí)他們正吃晚飯。

　　2) while 當(dāng)……時(shí)，一面……一面：

　　She cut her finger while she was cutting onions.

　　她切洋蔥時(shí)把手指切破了。

　　We Should strike while the iron is hot.

　　我們要趁熱打鐵。

　　we can Iook for Maria while you eat.

　　你們吃著時(shí)我們可以去找瑪麗亞。

　　3) as 在……時(shí)：

　　He waved as the train left the station.

　　火車(chē)離站時(shí)他向我們揮手。

　　As he talked on he got more and more excited.

　　他談著時(shí)越來(lái)越興奮。

　　They looked up as she walked toword them.

　　她向他走去時(shí)他們抬起頭來(lái)。

　　4) before 在……之前，不等……就：

　　I said good bye before I left.

　　我離開(kāi)前先道別。

　　Take the medicine before you go to bed.

　　睡覺(jué)前把這藥吃掉。

　　He ran off before I could stop him.

　　我還來(lái)不及阻止他他就跑掉了。

　　5) since 從……后，從……以來(lái)：

　　She has been an artist since she was five.

　　她從五歲起就擅長(zhǎng)畫(huà)畫(huà)了。

　　She has had a baby since she got married.

　　她結(jié)婚后生了一個(gè)孩子。

　　It's just a week since we came here.

　　我們到這里才一個(gè)星期。

　　6) until (till)直到，到……才：

　　I stayed with her until she died.

　　我陪著她直到她死去。

　　Don't leave till l get back.

　　在我回來(lái)以前你不要走。

　　7) as soon as 一……就：

　　As soon as you finish the job let me know.

　　你活一干完就通知我。

　　As soon as he got well, he went back to work.

　　他病一好就回去上班。

　　8) once 一旦……就：

　　It won't be difficult once yon have got used to it.

　　你一旦習(xí)慣了就不難了。

　　he said that, I knew he was lying.

　　他一說(shuō)這話我就知道他在說(shuō)謊了。
