第八章 動詞的非謂語形式 不定式作賓語

　　1.以不定式(短語)作賓語的時候極多，如：

　　He offered to help us.

　　他提出要幫我們的忙。

　　She can't afford to buy a computer.

　　她買不起電腦。

　　When did you begin to work there?

　　你什么時候開始在那里工作的?

　　They decided to drop the plan.

　　他們決定放棄這項計劃。

　　We'll continue to support you.

　　我們將繼續(xù)支持你。

　　She is learning to swim.

　　她在學游泳。

　　We love to listen to fairy tales.

　　我們喜歡聽童話故事。

　　He promised to return in an hour.

　　他答應一小時后回來。

　　能跟不定式作賓語的動詞常見的有：want, like, wish, hate, prefer, hope, continue, manage, try, ask, offer, start, forget, promise, mean, pretend, intend, begin, attempt, decide, learn, desire, agree, care, choose, determine, undertake, expect等。

　　2.有些動詞(如tell, advise, show, teach, find out, discuss, learn, forget等)后面可跟一個帶有連接副(代)詞的不定式作賓語：

　　They will teach us how to type.

　　他們將教我們怎樣打字。

　　She didn't know how to answer.

　　她不知如何回答是好。

　　He'll advise you what to do.

　　他會幫你出主意怎么辦。

　　You must decide whether to go with them.

　　你必須決定是否要和他們一道去。

　　3.有時還可以用it作形式上的賓語，把不定式放到后面去：

　　She found it impossible to finish the work so soon.

　　她發(fā)現不可能這樣快完成這項工作。

　　I don't think it necessary to do that.

　　我想這樣做不必要。

　　He felt it his duty to point that act.

　　他感到有責任指出這一點。

　　We regard it as an honor to be invited.

　　我們認為被邀請很榮幸。

　　其他的一些不定式的例句：

　　I have long had it in mind to answer your letters.

　　我一直想給你回信。

　　She took it on herself to apologize for me.

　　她親自出面替我道歉。
