突破英語(yǔ)口語(yǔ)練習(xí)：“多穿點(diǎn)”別說(shuō)成“wear more”，這么說(shuō)很不禮貌！

今年的降溫似乎來(lái)得格外早，很多北方城市沒(méi)有秋天，直接入冬。但外教Mac還是穿著薄衣服，大家就想跟他說(shuō)多穿一點(diǎn)。那么問(wèn)題來(lái)了，用英語(yǔ)該怎么說(shuō)呢？

很多人第一反應(yīng)可能會(huì)想到“wear more”。乍一看這樣說(shuō)確實(shí)沒(méi)毛病，“wear”是“穿”，“more”是“更多”，但這其實(shí)是一種中式英語(yǔ)。
首先，這種說(shuō)法并不地道，而且有一種強(qiáng)加于人不太禮貌的感覺(jué)。其次，“wear more”的意思是再穿一件和身上衣服相同的衣服，比如毛衣外面套個(gè)毛衣，短袖外面套個(gè)短袖，這樣就會(huì)顯得很奇怪了。
那么，“穿厚點(diǎn)”或者“多穿點(diǎn)”的地道表達(dá)是什么呢？

bundle (sb) up （使…）穿得暖和
英文釋義：to put warm clothes on yourself or someone else
The kids were bundled up in coats and scarves.孩子們穿著大衣，系著圍巾，裹得嚴(yán)嚴(yán)實(shí)實(shí)。
bundle的本意是“束；捆”，“bundle sth up”的意思是“把…捆扎起來(lái)”。

wrap (sb) up （使某人）穿得暖和
英文釋義：to dress in warm clothes, or to dress someone in warm clothes
Wrap up well - it's cold outside.穿暖和點(diǎn)——外面很冷。
dress warm 穿暖點(diǎn)
No matter how busy you are, you must take care of yourself. Friends may not contact each other very often, but they always have each other in heart. It's getting cold, dress warm.這就是友情，再忙也要照顧好自己，朋友雖不常聯(lián)系卻一直惦念，天涼記得多穿衣。

We all crowded around the stove to stay/keep warm. 我們都擠在爐邊取暖。
