大家平時(shí)是怎么形容好朋友的呢？
前兩天聽到有人用“You're a fast friend”來形容好友。
這是什么意思，朋友很快？當(dāng)然不是，fast friend是指忠實(shí)可靠的朋友。

這個(gè)用法的起源來自“堅(jiān)定不移”這個(gè)詞的古英語(yǔ)版——triewe這個(gè)詞，它的意思是忠實(shí)、值得信賴、對(duì)承諾或朋友堅(jiān)定不移。
