　　突破口語之情景對話(22):Back from vacation旅行歸來

　　Julie: Hey, Mark, long time no see.

　　Mark: Julie! It's good to see you again. How have you been?

　　Julie: Great. I just got back from a week's vacation in Thailand.

　　Mark: Really? How was it?

　　Julie: Fantastic! I didn't want to come back.

　　Mark: I hear the beaches in Thailand are beautiful.

　　Julie: They are. And not only that the people are friendly, but also the food is delicious, not to mention cheap.

　　Mark: I do like Thai food. Did you see much of Bangkok?

　　Julie: Not much. I've go enough city life in Beijing.

　　Mark: I know what you mean. I could use a vacation myself.

　　Julie: Hey, wouldn't it be great if we could go to Thailand together sometime?

　　Mark: Yeah, it sure would.

　　譯文：

　　朱莉：嘿，馬克，好久不見了。

　　馬克：朱莉，看到你真高興。你過得怎樣?

　　馬克：真的嗎?旅行怎樣?

　　馬克：我理解。我也應(yīng)該去度一下假。

　　1) vacation (n): holiday 度假

　　例: School is closed for the summer and children are on vacation.

　　學(xué)校夏天不開放，孩子們在度假。

　　2) beach (n): 沙灘，海濱

　　3) delicious (adj): =tasty 美味的

　　例: The fried chicken is delicious.

　　這炸雞味道鮮美。

　　4) mention (v): =say 提到,說起

　　例: Don't mention it; it's not a big deal.

　　不用客氣，這沒什么大不了的。
