　　I can hook you up.

　　hood sb. up直譯過來就是：“把某人掛起來”，這個短語的正確意思是：“把某人介紹給某人”。因此，當美國人說:"I can hook you up."時，他/她要表達的意思就是:"I can act as the go-between."、"I canintroduce you to someone else."。
