這問題可真是個燙手的山芋，叫人左右為難啊。
too hot to handle直譯過來就是：“太熱了而無法處理”，這個短語的正確意思是：“燙手山芋，棘手之事”。因此當(dāng)美國人說"This issue can be too hot to handle."時，他/她要表達(dá)的意思就是:"The problem istoo difficult to solve."、"It's a ticklish problem."。
