history的可數(shù)性以及與冠詞的搭配

1. 泛指一般意義的“歷史”，是不可數(shù)名詞。如：

History repeats itself. 歷史往往重演。

She knows more about history than most people. 她的歷史知識比多數(shù)人豐富。

但若表示“一段歷史”或“一種歷史”，可用不定冠詞。如：

The English language has an interesting history. 英語有（一段）有趣的歷史。

The Chinese nation has a long history. 中華民族歷史悠久。

2. 表示泛指意義，其前不用定冠詞，即使其前有形容詞修飾也是一樣，如ancient history（古代史），modern history（近代史），world history（世界史），Chinese history（中國史），等。

但是，如果要表示特指，則其前要用定冠詞，如the history of China（中國史），the history of the English language（英語的歷史），等。

3. 習(xí)語in history（歷史上）中的history前習(xí)慣上不用冠詞。如：

It was an important moment in history. 那是歷史上的重要時刻。

Ten years is a moment in history. 10年在歷史上是一瞬間。
