tea的用法及搭配特點(diǎn)

1. 表示“茶”“茶葉”，若視為物質(zhì)名詞，是不可數(shù)名詞。如

I will make some tea. 我來(lái)泡點(diǎn)茶吧。

I bought half a kilo of tea. 我買了半公斤茶葉。

若表示“一杯茶”，則為個(gè)體名詞，是可數(shù)的。如：

Two teas and a coffee, please. 請(qǐng)來(lái)兩杯茶和一杯咖啡。

用作物質(zhì)名詞，表示種類時(shí)也可用作可數(shù)名詞。如：

His business is tasting teas. 他的職業(yè)是品茶。

There are teas both with and without caffeine. 有帶和不帶咖啡因的兩種茶。

2. 漢語(yǔ)的“沏茶”或“泡茶”，英語(yǔ)通常用 make (the) tea, 有時(shí)也用 draw tea, 但一般不用 cook tea。如：

Shall I make (the) tea? 我沏點(diǎn)兒茶好嗎?

3. 漢語(yǔ)的“喝茶”，英語(yǔ)可用動(dòng)詞 drink, have, take 等。如：

Have some more tea. 再喝點(diǎn)茶吧。

It’s an English custom to drink tea in the afternoon. 下午喝茶是英國(guó)人的習(xí)慣。

4. 英語(yǔ)說(shuō)green tea, 譯成漢語(yǔ)是“綠茶”，但相應(yīng)的“紅茶”卻是black tea，而不是 red tea。如：

Would you like green tea or black tea? 你愿意要綠茶還是紅茶?

5. 除表示“茶”外，還可表示“茶點(diǎn)”，是英國(guó)人在下午四五點(diǎn)鐘用的一道“額外”餐（也稱afternoon tea，即下午茶），主要是喝點(diǎn)兒茶，吃些餅干或糕點(diǎn)等。此時(shí)通常也是不可數(shù)的；表示“吃茶點(diǎn)”，可與動(dòng)詞have, eat等，但若側(cè)重喝茶，也可用動(dòng)詞drink。如：

You’ll have time for tea. 你會(huì)有時(shí)間吃茶點(diǎn)的。

Call the children (in): it’s time for tea. 叫孩子們（進(jìn)來(lái)），該吃下午茶點(diǎn)了。

Drinking tea at 4 pm is a popular British institution. 下午4點(diǎn)鐘吃茶點(diǎn)是英國(guó)人很流行的習(xí)慣。

若表示“茶點(diǎn)”的份數(shù)，也可以是可數(shù)的。如：

The waitress has served twenty teas since 4 o’clock. 這女服務(wù) 員從4點(diǎn)鐘開(kāi)始已供應(yīng)了20份茶點(diǎn)。
