Beijing will hold the Olympic Games in 2008. When the news came on July 13th, people both in Beijing and in other cities became too excited to sleep.
北京將在2008年舉辦奧林匹克運動會，7月13日消息傳來，北京和其他城市的人民都興奮地無法入睡，他們自動涌到城市廣場，舉行慶?；顒印?/p>
They gathered in squares and held celebrations. At the same time, people in Beijing realized that it will not be easy to hold the Olympic Games. Many foreign visitors, reporters and sportsmen will come to Beijing at that time.
同時，北京人也意識到舉辦奧林匹克運動會并非一件容易的事。屆時，許多外國訪問者、記者、運動員將來北京。
More and more preparation should be done. We have also found many people, both young and old, are learning to speak English. As high-school students in Beijing, we will do more for the Beijing Olympic Games. As for myself, my plan is to study English hard and to be a volunteer to teach English in the community center.
越來越多的準備工作要做。我們還發(fā)現(xiàn)周圍許多人正在學習英語，無論老幼。作為北京的中學生，我們要為奧林匹克運動會多做貢獻。至于我本人，我的計劃是努力學習英語，自愿到社區(qū)中心教英語。
