Nowadays, more and more people in society have realized the importance of quality education, however, students in primary schools and high schools are still complaining that they are overloaded with too much homework.

現(xiàn)在，社會(huì)上越來(lái)越多的人已經(jīng)意識(shí)到素質(zhì)教育的重要性，然而小學(xué)生和中學(xué)生卻仍然在抱怨他們的作業(yè)負(fù)擔(dān)過(guò)于沉重。

In many teachers' eyes, homework offers a good method to strengthen the knowledge the students have obtained, yet they ignore the disadvantages that homework brings. For one thing, too much homework will take up all the spare time of students', leaving them unable to enjoy the rest of their lives; for another, too much homework will do great harm to students' health, both physically and mentally.

在許多老師看來(lái)，家庭作業(yè)是一個(gè)很好地鞏固學(xué)生知識(shí)的途徑，然而，他們忽視了家庭作業(yè)所帶來(lái)的負(fù)面影響。一方面，過(guò)多的家庭作業(yè)占據(jù)了學(xué)生全部業(yè)余時(shí)間，使她們無(wú)法享受學(xué)校生活;另一方面，過(guò)多的家庭作業(yè)大大損害了學(xué)生的身心健康。

It is high time that schools thought more about the function of homework and try to take practical measures to promote the all-round development of students.

現(xiàn)在應(yīng)該是學(xué)校進(jìn)一步考慮家庭作業(yè)的作用并采取切實(shí)措施去提高學(xué)生全方位發(fā)展的時(shí)候了。
