and as we know
眾所周知

one of the key elements of partnership is openness and Trust
開放和互信是合作最關(guān)鍵的要素

being open to working together
對 合作 開放大門

open to new ideas
對 新觀念 開放大門

open to new solutions
對新解決方案開放大門

we have seen China continue to change and evolve
我們看到了中國不斷的改革和發(fā)展

and we are grateful and apple that you have opened your doors to us
我們感謝中國的大門能對蘋果開放

and allowed us to be part of the community here
允許我們成為這里的一分子

we encourage China to continue to open up
我們希望中國能繼續(xù)開放

we see that as essential
我們認(rèn)為開放是極其重要的

not only for China to reach its full potential
不僅僅因為開放才能充分挖掘出中國的潛力

but for the global economy to thrive
還因為開放才能保持全球經(jīng)濟(jì)的繁榮

for me that brings to mind something that one of my heroes in life --Martin Luther King
這讓我想起我的一位精神領(lǐng)袖----馬丁·路德·金

once said
他曾說

“we are tied in a single garment of destiny ”
我們的命運緊緊連在一起

he said:“ whatever affects one directly affects all indirectly”
他說：任何直接影響到個體的東西都會間接影響到整體

in other words our futures are inextricably linked we are all bound by our common humanity
換言之，共同的人性如同紐帶般將我們的將來密不可分地連在一起了

our future therefore depends on collaboration on
因此，我們的未來取決于合作

recognizing as dr. King said that we are all tied in a single garment
正如馬丁·路德·金所說的，我們是命運的共同體

working together in that spirit we can make tremendous progress
本著這種精神一起合作，我們才可以取得巨大的進(jìn)步

working together there is no limit to what we can achieve
一起合作，那就沒有我們達(dá)不到的成就
