Butpeople who are cut off not only from foreigntourists, but even from their own countrymencan be hostile to travellers.

　　語(yǔ)言點(diǎn):much-travelled world為“復(fù)合形容詞+n.”結(jié)構(gòu)的短語(yǔ)，不能說(shuō)busy world,busy指的是“事情多”。

　　2.We always assume that villagers in remote places are friendly and hospitable.

　　人們總是以為偏僻的地方的村民們熱情好客。

　　語(yǔ)言點(diǎn)1:句子結(jié)構(gòu)分析:assume that…的意境比think that…要深的多。

　　語(yǔ)言點(diǎn)2: friendly and hospitable作表語(yǔ)。

　　3.But people who are cut off not only from foreign tourists, but even from their owncountrymen can be hostile to travellers.

　　但是，那些不但與外國(guó)旅游者隔絕，而且與本國(guó)同胞隔絕的人們有可能對(duì)游客抱有敵意。

　　語(yǔ)言點(diǎn):can be hostile to的意思是“可能對(duì)…抱有敵意”。
