Lesson 3 Please send me a card

課文內(nèi)容：

Postcards always spoil my holidays. Lastsummer, I went to Italy. I visited museums and satin public gardens. A friendly waiter taught me afew words of Italian. Then he lent me a book. Iread a few lines, but I did not understand aword. Everyday I thought about postcards. Myholidays passed quickly, but I did not send cards to my friends. On the last day I made a bigdecision. I got up early and bought thirty-seven cards. I spent the whole day in my room, but Idid not write a single card!

精講筆記：

4.A friendly waiter taught me a few words of Italian.

一位好客的服務員教了我?guī)拙湟獯罄Z。

語言點1 a few幾個，修飾可數(shù)名詞。a little一點點，修飾不可數(shù)名詞，還可以表述為a little bit, a bit,somewhat.

I am somewhat tired of this work.我對這個工作有點厭煩了。

語言點2 原句還可表達為：A friendly waiter taught me a little Italian.

5.Then he lent me a book.

然后，他借給了我一本書。

語言點 雙賓語應用：lend sb, sth.=lend sth. to sb.借給某人某物/把某物借給某人

Then he lent me a book.=Then he lent a book to me.

I showed my mother(間接賓語)this wonderful picture(直接賓語).

=I showed this wonderful picture(直接賓語)to my mother(間接賓語).

我給母親看了這張漂亮的照片。

6.I read a few lines, but I did not understand a word.

我讀了幾行，但一個單詞都不認識。

語言點1 read譯為“閱讀，攻讀，學習;看懂;辨認，察覺”

read a riddle猜出謎語;read malice in sb's face從某人臉上看出惡意

How do you read the sentence?你怎么理解這句話?

My brother reads the news lately.我弟弟最近才知道這個消息。

語言點2 understand意為“懂，理解”，近義詞有：comprehend, grasp, know, realize

語言點3 understand的反義詞有：misunderstand， misinterpret
