名詞有五種：

普通名詞、物質(zhì)名詞、專有名詞、集體名詞、抽象名詞

普通名詞在單數(shù)變復(fù)數(shù)時(shí)的規(guī)則：

1、加 -s 或 -es

加 -s后的讀音 /s/，/z/，/iz/

清輔音加 -s讀 /s/

清輔音加 -s讀 /z/

以 -ch　-sh　-x　-s　-z結(jié)尾的詞加-es讀 /iz/

可數(shù)名詞單數(shù)變復(fù)數(shù)的規(guī)則：

1、普通的名詞后邊直接加 s

a book/two books

2、以輔音字母加y結(jié)尾的單詞要把y變i加es

baby --> babies

3、以 -ch　-sh　-x　-s　-z結(jié)尾的詞要加-es，讀音為 /iz/

4、以f或fe結(jié)尾的單詞要變?yōu)関es

knife --> knives

wife --> wives

5、輔音字母加o結(jié)尾的單詞要加es，元音字母加o結(jié)尾的單詞要加s

potato --> potatoes

zoo --> zoos

一個(gè)關(guān)于讀音規(guī)則的問題

如果這幾個(gè)元音字母在單詞的倒數(shù)第三位的位置，則發(fā)其原來的字母音。即開音節(jié)。
