Signing a Contract
Colin: We've brought the draft of our contract. Please have a look.
Tom: How long will the contract last?
Colin: This contract is valid for one year.
Tom: That's too short. This contract must be valid for at least three years.
Colin: And we are always open to negotiate, if everything's going satisfactorily.
Tom: All right. We accept your deal .
Colin: Is there any other question?
Tom: Not any more.
Colin: We have finally reached a basic agreement on the problems.
Tom: That's necessary . It is time for us to sign the contract.
Colin: I've been looking forward to this moment.
Tom: Now, please countersign it.
Colin: Done. Congratulations. Each of us has formal duplicate of the contract, we will keep the original one.
Tom: Thank you very much. I think the contract will bear fruit in no time, and I hope our continuing cooperation and further extension of our trade relations.
Colin: That's what I want, too. Let me propose a toast to the success of our negotiations , and to our future cooperation, cheers!
Tom: Cheers!
