One day,after school,一天,放學后, Danny and Li Ming went to the park to fly kites.
It was a warm,windy day.那是個暖和而有風的天. Your kite looks like a bird,Li Ming!
Yes,it's a Chinese kite.是的,它是中國風箏. Yours looks like a circle,Danny.
That's different.它很不一般. Did you make it?是你做的嗎?
Yes! I made it.我做的.
Do you like it?你喜歡嗎? Yes,but I don't think it's going to fly.
I know about kites.我比較了解風箏. Sometimes they look like triangles or squares,
but never circles!但是從來沒有圓形的. I can make it fly.我能讓它飛起來.
Watch this!看這! Danny ran with his kite,丹尼帶著他的風箏跑起來,
but it didn't fly.但是它就是飛不起來. He ran faster and faster.他跑的越來越快.
Look!It's flying!看!它飛起來了! Then Danny ran into a tree.然后,丹尼跑向一棵樹.
"I am going to lie on the grass now," said Danny sadly.丹尼沮喪地說.
"Flying is for birds,not kites." Danny looked at the sky.丹尼看著天空.
There were many white clouds in the sky. "Hey,Li Ming!"he called.
"I see a cloud that looks like a donut! Come and see!"快來看!
Li Ming lay beside Danny on the grass. "I see it,too!我也看見了!
Look at that cloud!看那片云! It looks like an airplane!"它像一架飛機!
"And that one looks like a rabbit!"那片像只兔子! "No,not a rabbit.不,不是兔子.
It looks like a dragon!"它像條龍! "This is fun,"said Danny.
"I like watching clouds better than flying kites
