Tucked away in one of New Delhi hidden shopping areas, a small business selling knick-knacks made out of recycled material.

隱匿在新德里的其中一個(gè)購(gòu)物區(qū)中,一家小企業(yè)經(jīng)營(yíng)著由可回收材料制造而成的各種小飾品。

Wallets from touch pad, handbags made out of scraps.

錢包由觸控墊制作而成，手袋則出自碎布條。

The mission to fill up a gap or shortage or products made out of recycled materials in India,

這家公司的使命是填補(bǔ)一個(gè)在印度由回收材料制成的產(chǎn)品空白或短缺,

hence the brand name,Green the Gap.

因此其品牌名稱是用綠色填補(bǔ)差距。

But this little known Indian enterpriseis now going head to head with a giant multi-national, receiving a legal notice from San Francisco based retailer, Gap.

但就是這樣一家鮮為人知的印度企業(yè)現(xiàn)在卻因?yàn)槭盏揭患铱偛课挥谂f金山巨大的跨國(guó)零售商Gap的法律通告而被廣泛傳播。

What's your reaction when you receive this legal notice from Gap?

I was surprised and I was angry that how a corporation like Gap which is so huge to get offended by a small entity factory like Green the Gap .

我很驚訝之后感到很氣憤,像是Gap這樣規(guī)模如此巨大的公司竟然被一家小實(shí)體工廠冒犯。

Then what we do is completely different from what Gap does,

we recycle the upcycle if you are trying to give livelihood for people like these in terms of people who are dealing with waste and also for many people who make things out of waste.

The notice accused eco-entrepreneur,Vimlendu Jha of adopting the name gap in his company's products and website with "mollified intention to take undue advantage of Gap'sreputation and good will.

法律通告指責(zé)生態(tài)企業(yè)家維蘭度·賈哈在他公司的產(chǎn)品和網(wǎng)站中采用Gap的名稱并且“打算過(guò)度利用Gap的聲譽(yù)和良好的意愿”。

John says the claims are unwarranted.

約翰稱這種說(shuō)法毫無(wú)根據(jù)。

This is completely bizarre because that wasn't our intention.

That is not even the meaning of bringing the gap.

這甚至不是冠以Gap之名的意義。

There is no connection between gap and green the gap.

The notice also ordered John to stop using the word in any manner.

I thought it was an absolute case of corporate belief and I will stand against it.

If you look at the legal notice the gap had sent us,

it was very intermediating thing,

Gap would not comment on the notice citing legal matters.

But in a statement to CNN,

Gap said indeed it is a market it is exploring,though there is no plant time table.
