生產(chǎn)的計(jì)劃是將調(diào)度、估算和預(yù)測(cè)產(chǎn)品需求(forecasting the future demands)等融為一體的過(guò)程,受客戶訂單、生產(chǎn)能力和倉(cāng)儲(chǔ)能力等條件的限制。主要的生產(chǎn)計(jì)劃方式有三種:分工(job)、批量處理(batch)和流水線(flow)。每一種都有優(yōu)點(diǎn)和缺點(diǎn)(advantages and disadvantages)。

分工法(job method)

這種生產(chǎn)計(jì)劃是針對(duì)某些客戶定制規(guī)格較高(customer specifications)的產(chǎn)品,規(guī)模小但要求工人技能水準(zhǔn)高(required skill-set),有時(shí)候需要一些特定的設(shè)備(specialized equipment)。這種方法的特點(diǎn)是任務(wù)劃分到人,各負(fù)其責(zé)。在生產(chǎn)環(huán)節(jié)可以根據(jù)設(shè)計(jì)的要求對(duì)任何一個(gè)部分隨時(shí)進(jìn)行調(diào)整。

批量處理法(batch method)

隨著業(yè)務(wù)量的增長(zhǎng),生產(chǎn)量(production volumes)也不斷增長(zhǎng),要求將整體任務(wù)劃分成不同的工作部分(division of work)。只有在前一部分的工作完全結(jié)束后,第二部分才可以進(jìn)行,通常電子類產(chǎn)品按照這個(gè)方法制造。每個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)要求對(duì)該領(lǐng)域有專長(zhǎng)的人手(specialization of labor)。
