[02:21.38] Either Billy or Charlie had obviously cleaned it up, 顯然，不是比利，就是查理，已經(jīng)把車清潔過(guò)了， [02:24.22]but the tan upholstered seats still smelled faintly of tobacco,gasoline, and peppermint. 不過(guò)裝了軟墊的皮座椅還是能聞到些許的煙草、汽油和薄荷油的味道。 [02:29.43] The engine started quickly, to my relief, but loudly, roaring to life and then idling at top volume. 令我感到安慰的是，發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)一打就著，不過(guò)聲音很大，剛發(fā)動(dòng)時(shí)突突作響，空轉(zhuǎn)時(shí)更是達(dá)到了最大音量。 [02:38.00] Well, a truck this old was bound to have a flaw. 嗨，這么老的一輛車肯定有一兩處缺陷的。 [02:41.30] The antique radio worked, a plus that I had not expected. 嘿，那老掉牙的收音機(jī)還響呢，這可是一筆意外收獲呀。
