An elderly couple was driving on the interstate. Whilethe woman was behind the wheel, the couple waspulled over by the highway patrol.
一對老夫婦開車走在州際公路上。老太太開車時(shí),被巡警攔了下來。
"Ma'am, did you know you were speeding?" the officesaid.
“夫人,你超速了,知道嗎?”
The woman, hard of hearing, turned to her husband and asked, "What did he say?"
老太太耳背,轉(zhuǎn)向老頭問:“他說什么?”
"He said you were speeding!" the old man yelled.
老頭大叫:“他說你超速啦!”
The patrolman then asked, "May I see your license?"
巡警接著說:“請出示你的駕照,好嗎?”
The woman turned to her husband again, "What did he say?"
老太太又轉(zhuǎn)向老頭問:“他說什么?”
The old man yelled back, "He wants to see your license!"
老頭大叫:“他要看你的駕照!”
The woman gave the officer her license.
老太太把駕照遞給巡警。
"I see you are from Arkansas," the patrolman said. "I spent some time there once and went ona blind date with the ugliest woman I've ever seen."
“你是阿肯色州人,”巡警說,“我在那兒待過一段時(shí)間,還和一個(gè)女人約會(huì)過,她可真是我見過的女人里最丑的一個(gè)。”
The woman turned to her husband again and asked, "What did he say?"
老太太再次轉(zhuǎn)向老頭問:“他說什么?”
The old man replied, "He said he knows you!"
老頭大叫:“他說他認(rèn)得你!”
