第15單元 夏恩一個(gè)人坐飛機(jī)
Shane's mother filled his backpack with books, and toys. He was only six years old and he was flying half way across the country all by himself. When Shane was two his parents got a divorce and since then they've had shared custody. This year Shane's dad had moved to Washington, so Shane was flying out to meet him. His dad would be there at the airport to pick him up.
夏恩的媽媽把書本和玩具塞進(jìn)夏恩的背包里。夏恩今年才六歲，正一個(gè)人坐著國(guó)內(nèi)班機(jī)，目前還在半路上。夏恩兩歲時(shí)父母就離婚了，從那時(shí)起兩個(gè)人便共同擁有對(duì)夏恩的監(jiān)護(hù)權(quán)。由于夏恩的爸爸今年搬到華盛頓，所以夏恩要坐飛機(jī)去看他。他爸爸會(huì)在機(jī)場(chǎng)等著接他。
His mother drove him out to the airport and walked him to the check out gate. She gave him a big hug and asked the flight attendant to take good care of him.
他媽媽開車送他到機(jī)場(chǎng)，陪他走到出境大門那里。她用力擁抱了他一下，并請(qǐng)空服員對(duì)他多加照顧。
Inside the plane Shane explored everything. The flight attendant gave him earphones to watch movies. They gave him as much Coke as he wanted and at dinnertime he asked for two desserts.
夏恩在飛機(jī)上東摸西摸，看到什么都很好奇。空服員給他耳機(jī)看電影，他想喝多少可樂也都讓他喝，晚餐時(shí)他還要了兩份甜點(diǎn)。
He watched the movie and then pressed his nose to the window as the landscape passed beneath him. Soon, he felt asleep. When he woke up he had arrived and the flight attendanthad carried him out to where his father was waiting. Shane couldn't wait to tell his dad all about his trip.
他看完電影后，便把鼻子貼在窗戶上，看著下面經(jīng)過的景色，接著很快就睡著了。等他醒來時(shí)飛機(jī)已經(jīng)抵達(dá)目的地了，空服員便帶他到他爸爸等他的地方。夏恩迫不及待要告訴他爸爸旅行時(shí)所發(fā)生的一切。
