Call for是指需要特定的行為,舉動(dòng),品質(zhì),需求,要求等。由此衍生出一個(gè)詞語(yǔ):uncalled-for(沒理由的,不必要的)。例如:an uncalled-for criticism(無(wú)緣無(wú)故的批評(píng))。它的反義詞是:no call for(沒理由,沒必要)。
