　　第一， 迷你對話

　　A: There is only one petrol station on the way there.What if we run out of petrol?

　　那條路上只有一個加油站，如果我的汽油用光了怎么辦?

　　B: I doubt that’ll happen. My car’s tank is plenty big.She’ll be apples.

　　我很懷疑那種事情會發(fā)生，我車子里的油缸很大，所以不會有事的。

　　第二， 地道表達

　　Sb. will be apples.

　　1. 解詞釋義

　　Sb. will be apples.用來表示不用擔心某人，某人沒事的。

　　2. 拓展范例

　　e.g. I know you may need some time to get over this breakup, but you'll be appleseventually.

　　我知道你可能需要一段時間才能走出分手的傷痛，但你最后一定會沒事的。

　　e.g. Get yourself some coffee and you'll be apples then.

　　去喝杯咖啡，你就會沒事的。

　　e.g. I've taken my pills and I'll just stay in and lie down. Don’t worry, I will be apples.

　　第三， 咬文嚼字

　　1. run out of的意思是“用完，用盡”。例如：

　　Fears that the world was about to run out of fuel proved groundless.事實證明對于世界燃料即將耗盡的擔憂毫無根據(jù)。

　　They have run out of ideas.他們已經想不出任何辦法了。

　　He has run out of food; his children are hungry.他家揭不開鍋了, 孩子們都等著吃飯。

　　3. Plenty big中的plenty做副詞用，意思是非常。例如：

　　We've got plenty more of them in the shop. 我們店里還有很多那種貨物。

　　There's plenty more paper if you need it. 你需要紙的話, 有的是。

　　4. What if……用來表示假設，意思是“…….怎么辦?”例如：

　　What if he doesn't agree? 如果他不同意該怎么辦呢?

　　What if he comes back now? 如果他現(xiàn)在回來怎么辦?
