　　1. 解詞釋義

　　老美喜愛比賽，很有競爭意識。當(dāng)他們大敗對方時(shí)，他們會歡呼雀躍，興奮不已。 ahead of game的字面意思是“在比賽中領(lǐng)先”，引申為“領(lǐng)先，居于優(yōu)勢”“處于有利地位，由于贏家地位”。在其后加上介詞by，即為：ahead of game，表示“通過做某事而領(lǐng)先與他人，居于優(yōu)勢”, game在這里表示“競爭”。ahead ofthe game之前可以用不同的動(dòng)詞，比如to stay ahead of the game，或者是to keep someoneahead of the game，get ahead of the game。

　　e.g. Let's get out of the stock market while we are still ahead of the game.

　　趁我們現(xiàn)在還賺錢趕快從股票市場撤退。

　　Ps：to be frank的意思是“坦誠地說，老實(shí)說”。例如：

　　To be frank, I had not expected such gorgeous creations.

　　說老實(shí)話，我沒想到能看到這么漂亮的時(shí)裝。
