　　1. 解詞釋義

　　在經(jīng)典電影《電子情書》里，Joe Fox的女朋友約他出去參加一個晚宴，他說到：“It is a black tie.”意思是“這是正式的場合。”由此，我們可以知道a black tie不只是用來指“一條黑色的領(lǐng)帶”，還可以用來指“正式場合的晚宴，喜慶和表演”。

　　2. 拓展例句

　　e.g. She prefers wearing high heels when it is a black tie.

　　在正式場合她比較喜歡穿高跟鞋。

　　e.g. Loosen up, this isn't a black tie.

　　隨便一些,這不是正式場合。

　　e.g. This is a black tie, so you should dress formally.

　　Ps 1：take pride in的意思是“以......為自豪”“對.......感到得意”。例如：

　　This is a fact every Chinese can witness and take pride in.

　　這是每一個中國人都能夠親身體會，并且引以為榮的事實(shí)。

　　They take great pride in their daughter; she is now a famous scientist.

　　他們的女兒現(xiàn)已成為著名的科學(xué)家，他們感到非常自豪。

　　Ps 2：in one’s appearance的意思是“在某人的外表上”。例如：

　　There was a noticeable transformation in his appearance.

　　他的容貌有了明顯的變化。

　　Something in his appearance riveted our attention.

　　他外表的某些特征吸引了我們的注意力。

　　We were amazed at the change in his appearance.

　　他的樣子變得使我們大為驚訝。
