　　1. 解詞釋義

　　我們中國人常用“結(jié)為連理”來表示“結(jié)婚”的意思，那么英語中也類似的表達(dá)法叫tie the knot。Tie做動詞用，有“綁，打結(jié)”的意思，knot是“結(jié)”。Tie the knot字面意思就是“打結(jié)”，比喻為“婚姻的結(jié)合”。此外，它還有“舉行婚禮”的意味在其中。
