　　地道表達(dá)：sick and tired of something

　　1. 解詞釋義

　　Sick and tired of doing something可以看做是一個(gè)習(xí)慣用法，是“對某事物感到厭煩”的意思。這里的sick并不是“生病”的意思。對話中“I am sick and tired of doing homework. ”的意思是“我對做作業(yè)很厭煩”。

　　還可以這么用，be sick and tired of something。例如：看到販賣機(jī)老板老是吃錢，你覺得厭煩，你可以說：“I am sick and tired of this vending machine。”

　　此外，還有另外一個(gè)相關(guān)的有趣的用法：I am sick and tired of being sick and tired. 我對于老是厭煩而感到十分厭煩了。

　　e.g. I was sick and tired of the unending secrecy.

　　我對這種諱莫如深的神秘氣氛感到十分厭煩。

　　e.g. She must have got sick and tired of hearing people say that.
