1. 地道表達(dá)：put one’s at rest
(1)解詞釋義
At rest作為習(xí)語有“安寧”的意思，put your heart at rest從字面上看就是“把你的心放安寧”。人的心什么時(shí)候放安寧呢?也就是放心的時(shí)候。因此，該與的意思是“放心”。對(duì)話中“You can put your heart at rest. ”的意思就是“你放心吧。”

我們已經(jīng)采取措施加固，請(qǐng)放心好了。
e.g. He will be in the pink, so put your heart at rest.

Ps: at rest有三個(gè)意思。第一個(gè)意思是“安息，長(zhǎng)眠”。例如：
He lies at rest in the Martyrs' Cemetery.他在烈士陵園安息著。
The poor man is now at rest.那個(gè)可憐的人現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)安息。
第二個(gè)意思是“靜止不動(dòng)”。 例如：
The sails of the windmill are now at rest.風(fēng)車的帆葉現(xiàn)在靜止不動(dòng)了。
The waves of the sea are never at rest.大海的波濤永不停息。
第三個(gè)意思是“平息”或“停止”。例如：
We set the matter at rest.我們把問題解決了。
I intend to set the matter at rest once and for all.我打算把這件事徹底搞清楚。
