　　A: It seems to me that you fall for good-looking guys.

　　我看來(lái)你好像挺喜歡那個(gè)英俊的小伙子的。

　　B: Yeah.

　　A: Why don’t you date up a handsome guy and spend time together?

　　【核心短語(yǔ)】a date mate

　　【解詞釋義】a date mate是20世紀(jì)四十年代青少年用語(yǔ)，多指“社交場(chǎng)合的伙伴”或“作伴者”。

　　1. fall for：對(duì)......傾心，迷戀

　　【典型范例1】Many high school boys fall for the young singer.

　　1. It seems to somebody +從句。

　　【釋義】依某人開(kāi)來(lái)...... 對(duì)于來(lái)說(shuō)......

　　【范例1】It seems to me that a doctor can transform a whole community.

　　我覺(jué)得，一個(gè)醫(yī)生可以改變整個(gè)社會(huì)。

　　【范例2】It seems to me an awfully selfish way of looking at things.

　　2. Somebody has found oneself something or somebody.

　　【釋義】某人為自己找到了某事情或某人(指對(duì)自己有益處的)。

　　【范例】I have found myself a hobby that will give me a barrel of fun.

　　我為我自己找到了講給我?guī)?lái)很大樂(lè)趣的愛(ài)好。

　　3. Somebody and somebody have a lot in common.

　　【釋義】某人與某人之間有許多共同之處。

　　【范例】 Even though he is more than twenty years than me but we have a lot in common.

　　雖然他比我大二十多歲，但是我們有許多共同之處。
