習(xí)語(yǔ)解說(shuō)：

復(fù)數(shù)形式arms指“武器，兵器”，短語(yǔ)be up in arms意即“起來(lái)進(jìn)行武裝斗爭(zhēng)，竭力反對(duì)”，比喻“激烈反抗”“強(qiáng)烈反抗”“強(qiáng)烈抗議”“滿腔怒火” 等，其后接介詞about或者是over。
