詞海拾貝：

1.be/ go after one's money：追求某人的金錢

Eg.I were not after fame or money but now I would like to go after it.

我以前不追名逐利，但是現(xiàn)在我要追求名利。

Eg.You are rest asured that I won't never go after your money.

你放心吧我永遠(yuǎn)都不會(huì)追求你的錢。

2.more nice than wise：死要面子活受罪，因愛(ài)面子而損害自己的利益

Eg.There is no need to be more nice than wise.

沒(méi)有必要死要面子活受罪。

Eg.He refuse to accept help as he is nice than wise.

他由于死要面子而不肯接受幫助。

Eg.Do don't be so nice than wise any more! Tell me what you really feel.

3.be happy with：和......在一起幸福，高興，快樂(lè)

4.regret for：因......后悔

Eg.I bet you will regret for what you've said to me today.

我確信你會(huì)對(duì)你今天所言付出代價(jià)的。

Eg.We regret for the loss you have suffered and agree to compensate you by $500.

我們對(duì)你方遭受的損失深表歉意，同意向你們賠償500 美元。

Eg.He felt no shame and no regret for what he had done.

他并不為他所做的事感到羞恥和后悔。
