B : But he's really kind at heart.

B : 但是他本質(zhì)上是個(gè)好人。

A : That's true. We can not judge people by appearance.

詞海拾貝：

at heart：本質(zhì)上，非表面的，在內(nèi)心里

Eg . His manners are rough, but he is a kind man at heart.

他雖然舉止粗魯, 但心地善良。

Eg . Never judge people by their appearance.

人不可貌相。

Eg . It's only shallow people who judge by appearance.

只有膚淺的人才會(huì)以貌取人。

Eg . We shouldn't judge people by appearance but the inner center.

我們不應(yīng)該只看人家的外表，更重要的是人的內(nèi)心。
