習(xí)語：a red letter day

講解：日歷上圣徒禮拜及節(jié)日均由紅色字標(biāo)明，因此a red letter day 往往指“特別重要的日子”，即：大喜日子，如：“結(jié)婚，勝利或接受榮譽(yù)符號”等。

支持范例：

It was a red letter day for us when Paul came home from the war.
